The share survives.
Quantity is not the same thing as portion. The outer scale can change. The inner share is the quantity that the molt is required to keep.
The shell is the identity. Proportional supply adjustment is the mechanism. We are building a way to inspect the arithmetic instead of asking you to take the transformation on trust.
More units does not automatically mean more value.

CARAPACE supply factor unset EXUVIA old shell FRACTION your share, unchanged
In a proportional rebase, your balance and the total supply scale by the same factor. The numbers change together. Your fraction of the whole stays the same.
Factor 1
Elastic means both directions. A proportional contraction reduces balances and supply together. Move the control and watch the two scale bars share the factor while the fraction bar does not move.
The part that matters survives the molt. If a balance and total supply both double, their ratio is unchanged.
The lime sector is the holder share. Its angle is the ownership fraction.
The ring grows with supply. The sector angle does not. MOLT's preview makes that relationship inspectable, rather than presenting a larger balance as a reward.
Quantity is not the same thing as portion. The outer scale can change. The inner share is the quantity that the molt is required to keep.
A model is not a published protocol. Staking terms are proposed copy, not an operating pool on this page.
MOLT's preview explains proportional rebasing. Contract rules, triggers and integrations still need a published specification. The mechanism can be explored without pretending those pieces already exist.
Pre-stake, if it opens, is a token transfer to a vault once a contract address is set. Pool wiring is a separate step. This site does not describe a receipt stream, a spend share, or a threshold as if they were settled rules.
No mystery under the carapace. A demonstration should reveal its assumptions before it asks for your attention.
Share, epoch length, spend terms, and contract addresses used as operating rules are unpublished here. This page does not invent them.
Change the starting balance, total supply and rebase factor in the preview. Inspect the outputs. That is the published part of MOLT today: the arithmetic, opened for inspection.
Plain definitions. No hidden panel.
No mystery under the carapace. Set balance, supply and factor. Read the new figures. Keep the fraction in view.
